Blogs are an online ‘log’ or diary, a nice simple way to set up a website and publish your ideas, thoughts, comments etc. They are a rich resource covering wide ranging topics and am sure you will find a blog to interest you.
We’ve listed a few festive blogs to get into the spirit, but let us know about your favourite blogs, just add them as a comment by clicking on the little speech bubble at the top of the blog post
As information is added to blogs generally on a regular basis, from daily, weekly, monthly etc a good way to keep eye is using an RSS reader. For all you need to know about RSS check out ‘Learning 2.0 @ Imperial College Library’ blog for a great introduction.

I’ve only just returned to blogging after a long hiatus, so I’d like to give a plug to the one that won me back (especially as I got nobbled for co-editor!)

I like that blog gallery image – is there a web 2.0 tool to make that?
Btw I emailed the blog to the Information Officers here at The Careers Group today. We’d just been discussing 23 Things at a recent meeting so it was perfect timing.

I did the blog gallery on the mac in Safari, but I think Google Chrome can provide that type of display too. I just added them to a folder in my bookmarks opened them and then selected the display.
Thanks for sharing the blog, hope it helps with your 23things planning

I was wondering about the gallery image too, great way to show a number of screenshots at a glance. Might have to steal that idea! 🙂

Also came across Tizmos which allows you to create a personalised home page of the thumbnails of your fave sites, you do need to sign up for this. I spotted this in a presentation on slide share by Phil Bradley, ’25 tools to entertain, educate, enthrall and excite!‘ another source of inspiration

Saw you’d left a link to this site on my blog but for some reason or other, your comment disappeared. Great idea though. I’m looking forward to see what else you highlight in the coming days.

Ah Safari, of course! Good tip, it is a nice way to present them. Thanks.
